A Sweet Celebration

I’ve seen it a million times – I’ve even experienced it for myself. Mormon missionaries come and go through the SLC Airport all of the time — and when they come home – it’s a sweet celebration. When they go… it’s pure misery… with a dash of joy — speaking for myself.

I most recently sent my own son on an LDS mission to Chile… seeing him go was by far one of the most emotional experiences of my life. But, thrilled with what he was about to experience. So now, I look forward to that celebrated moment of him coming into view at the top of that escalator in 2 years.
