SLC International Airport Reports Another Record Year

The numbers have been tabulated and the results show another record-breaking year at Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC)—the third consecutive year of passenger growth. From January through December 2018, passenger counts totaled 25,554,244, which is an increase of 5.6 percent. This is the first time SLC has logged more than 25 million passengers within a 12-month period.

SLC Airport to Announce Restaurants Selected for The New SLC

The Salt Lake City Department of Airports (SLCDA) will be announcing the food and beverage component for the first phase of The New SLC Redevelopment Program, coming in September of 2020. SLCDA went through the city’s procurement process resulting in the selection of a number of companies that will build and operate 23 concepts, including local and national brands.

Mayor Biskupski Visits Federal Workers at SLC Airport

Federal workers at Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) had lunch courtesy of Mayor Jackie Biskupski today. Mayor Biskupski provided pizza for workers from Customs and Boarder Protection (CBP), the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) to thank them for their ongoing service and to help boost morale during the government shutdown.
