To celebrate the completion of The New SLC, Salt Lake City International Airport commissioned award-winning Utah composer Kurt Bestor to create Lux Altior (“The Higher Light”), an original musical composition inspired by the wonder of flight. Blending orchestral and choral elements, the piece celebrates the dreams, connections and adventures that bring travelers together from around the world.
