Salt Lake City, UT - Starting on May 11, Salt Lake City International will begin repaving the Terminal Drive lanes exiting the airport. All travelers leaving the airport—whether via private or public vehicles—will be impacted by the repaving project and should prepare for possible delays.
Terminal Drive is the only road that exits the airport terminal building and parking lots. The repaving project may impact drivers dropping off and picking up passengers, car rental customers, and patrons parking in the garage or economy parking lot. The repaving will take place in phases between Monday, May 11 and Wednesday, May 27, with two lanes to remain open to traffic at all times.
To avoid possible delays during the repaving project, an alternative option is to take TRAX, UTA’s light rail system. For construction updates, go to www.slcairport.com.
