Media Badging

When covering routine news stories at the Airport in the nonsecure area, identification is required although it is advantageous to carry it. To access the terminal/concourses, airfield or other secure area, media are required to have a temporary airport badge. Contact the Communication and Marketing director with the legal name (as it appears on a driver’s license) and date of birth for the reporter and/or photographer at least 24-hours in advance. Badges are available to be picked up at the Airport’s Badging Office -- located on the third level of the Terminal -- during business hours. After obtaining the badge, a sanctioned escort will accompany individuals to the TSA security check point.
