SLC Accepting Donations for Food Pantry
The Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) has organized a food pantry to assist TSA workers who are not being paid during the partial government shutdown. The pantry provides staples such as nonperishable food, baby items, toiletries, pet supplies and other essentials.
SLC welcomes non-perishable food donations from anyone wishing to contribute. All items can be dropped off in the bin at the Level 2 information desk (click here to see on map) inside the airport, or in the bin at the Touch n' Go gas station located in the Park & Wait Lot at the airport (click here to see on map).
To donate gift cards, please go to the airport's administrative offices located on level 3 of the terminal building behind the Southwest Airlines check-in counters during business hours. The administration offices are located near the Airport Lost & Found (click here to see on map).
