Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) has unveiled a varied menu of new restaurants and retail shops for Phase 2 of The New SLC Redevelopment Program. The selections provide a snapshot into the area’s local flavor as well as a taste of well-known national brands. For the past 24 months, construction teams have been working diligently to build Phase 2 of The New SLC Airport Redevelopment Program (ARP). Come see the progress that has been made on Concourse A-east construction and learn what will be opening in May 2023. In addition to the tour, the airport will be announcing the 19 new restaurants and retail shops that have been selected for Phase 2. Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) is expecting to see an increase in passengers this week as locals take to the skies for spring break. SLC along with other airport tenants are preparing for the increase by scheduling more staff and have implemented an enhanced parking plan. Air Canada today announced an expansion of its North American network for Summer 2022 as the carrier's recovery from COVID accelerates. With the launch of new service on four transborder and three domestic routes, as well as the restoration of 41 North American routes, Air Canada will operate to 51 Canadian and 46 U.S airports this summer and offer customers the largest network and most travel options of any Canadian carrier. On the USO’s 81st Birthday, the USO will be opening the doors to its first center in Utah since WWII. The new center at Salt Lake City International Airport will provide a ‘home away from home’ for military service members and their families serving, training, and traveling through the state of Utah. We will host a grand opening ceremony and ribbon cutting at SLC, where will include remarks by USO, military and airport leadership. May 03 2022
