The Salt Lake City International Airport and Delta Air Lines are celebrating the launch of the first nonstop flight to Incheon International Airport in South Korea. Salt Lake City passengers will now be able to connect to more than 50 destinations throughout Asia, including Bangkok, Manila, Shanghai and Singapore. The flight will provide one-stop access to about 80% of the world’s total population. Officials with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) today reminded the public that starting Wednesday, May 7, 2025, every air traveler 18 years of age and older will need to have a REAL ID compliant state-issued driver’s license, instruction permit or identification card or another acceptable form of ID to board a U.S. commercial aircraft. Officials with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Salt Lake City International Airport and the Utah Department of Public Safety will host a media availability on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. to discuss REAL ID enforcement and what travelers can expect when traveling on or after the upcoming enforcement deadline of Wednesday, May 7, 2025.
