Tooele Valley Airport
Tooele Valley Airport (TVY) currently provides many aviation-related services, including business-related flying, sky diving, law enforcement/fire/rescue flying services, recreational flying, and flight training. TVY is located in Erda, Utah approximately five miles northwest of Tooele, near State Highway 138. It is operated with one primary runway, oriented in a general north-south direction, along with a supporting parallel taxiway system.

Runway 17/35
The single runway at the airport, Runway 17/35, is 6,100 feet in length and 100 feet in width. The runway is constructed of asphalt and has a gross weight bearing capacity of 30,000 pounds for the single-wheel main landing gear configuration and 43,000 pounds for double-wheel main landing gear configuration. The runway is equipped with pilot-controlled medium intensity runway lights (MIRL). Threshold lights are located at each end as well as runway end identifier lights (REILs) for runway 35. Four light precision approach path indicators (PAPI) service each runway. The airport has an instrument landing system (ILS) for runway 17.

Landside Facilities
The landside area consists of a linear layout, running north to south along the east side. The facilities include six individual privately-owned hangars, aircraft parking aprons (24 aircraft tie-down spaces), self-service fuel storage and dispensing facilities and access roadways. Self-serve 100 low-lead aviation fuel is available 24-hours a day. The most recent Airport Layout Plan Update for Tooele Valley Airport was completed in August of 2000.
Skydive Utah (435-833-9999) is active April-November each year.
BLM Fire Heli-base is active June-November each year.
