General Aviation

The general aviation facilities are housed on the east side of Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC), South Valley Regional Airport in West Jordan, Utah (U42), and Tooele Valley Airport (TVY) in Erda, Utah.

There are two full-service fixed base operators (FBOs) to serve the flying needs of private aviators at SLC. Services include aircraft sales and leasing, air charter service, aircraft parts and maintenance, fuel sales and aircraft storage.

The Salt Lake City Department of Airports is currently providing fueling, ground handling, aircraft storage/parking and ground power (GPU) services at South Valley Regional Airport. A third-party maintenance provider, Advantage Aviation, and flight schools Aerotech Aviation, Randon Aviation, Upper Limit Aviation and Utah Helicopter are also available.

Hangar Lease Space

Hangar lease space is in high demand in the Salt Lake area. We currently have a very long wait list for space at South Valley Regional Airport. Tie down space is available at Tooele Valley Airport. Hangar space at SLCIA is no longer offered to new tenants.

Aeronautical Service Business

Individuals desiring to perform independent aeronautical services at or from the airport must have a lease agreement or permit agreement from the airport.
